The Bronze Look
A touch of sunlight and a healthy tan makes you look sportive, fresh and most of all sexy. Especially for those, who are extremely light-skinned though, a bronzer is a good alternative to the usual classic look of rose cheeks. This kind of powder grants a discreet tint of the skin without looking overpainted or exaggerated. Especially those of you who have a very light skin will know that this can happen very easily.
But in case of the bronzer the face just looks refreshed and lively, just like it would look after a nice walk outside in the fresh air. Of course the powder is applicable for also the darker skin types, too!

(This is an example for a complete bronze look. I think only the nail polish was in colour eggplant )

A nice silver latex mini dress worn by topmodel Susan WaylandI am a very light-skinned person and I am using this powder almost on a daily basis. It is unbelievable how it shapes the face, and how you can easily set great creative accents. If you wish to have additional effects, you may even intensify these accents by adding some rouge.
(Because bronze is a part of the “metallic” colours you can combine it also with silver very well.)
A brilliant black latex top worn by topmodel Susan WaylandI love this look and I think that it is so great that in the meantime most labels of the cosmetic industry offer even eyeshadows or lipgloss, make up and nail polish in bronze colours. Isn’t that all a girl could wish for?

(Bronze is a part of the so called “warm earth tones”. So you can easily combine it with warm green eyeshadow too. As a contrast you can use lipgloss in cold pink or berry tone.)

Here I have some more great products for you:

Artdeco, Dior, Hauschka, Guerlain

  1. Hey Sway
What product do you use? Im as white as you and it usually turns orange thanks.

  2. Often the different cosmetic brands offer various bronze tones. If the colour will fit to your skin depends on your skin colour and your skin undertone.

I have a yellow one with olive undertone and very happy with using Dior Poudre de Soleil 020.

It’s one of four different Bronze tones you can buy from Dior. I’m pretty sure that people with red or beige skin will also find the right one in that nice assortment.

The powder isn’t that cheap but I swear you’ll have it for YEARS! It’s pure delight to use it :-)

  3. Thanks SWAY! :) I love chanel but will try dior b/c your photos turn out so great with it.

  4. @Bunny: You are welcome! :-)
